BIO Vanilla – CO2 extract in BIO jojoba

Supercritical vanilla extract has a warm, sweet and rich scent. It is suitable for use in aromatherapy, perfumery as well as in natural cosmetics  (in skin care products, in lotions, š shampoos, serums …).

The scent of vanilla extract evokes a feeling of homeliness, warmth, and soothes stress and tension.

Vanilla oil extract is obtained with supercritical carbon dioxide (CO2) at low temperature and high pressure. It is a very modern and complex process, supercritical extracts do not contain residues of organic solvents, and they also contain some compounds that are not found in essential oil. CO2 vanilla extract thus contains more vanillin than the oil obtained through extraction with organic solvents. The smell of such extracts is much more similar to the smell of the plant than to the smell of the essential oil from the same plant.

In blends, it goes well with citrus essential oils and with woody, floral and spicy scents. In these combinations, vanilla rounds out and softens the smell of the blend.

Since the extract is in jojoba oil, it is not suitable for use in diffusers.

Perfume:

Since the vanilla extract is in organic jojoba oil, it does not need to be diluted before use. As a perfume, you can apply a few drops to your pulse points.

DIFFUSION OIL

Drop 10 drops of extract into 10 ml of any carrier oil.

FOR RELAXATION (massage oil)

4 drops of vanilla extract
2 drops of lavender essential oil
3 drops of neroli essential oil

Dilute the indicated amounts in 10 ml of base oil.

FOR BETTER CONCENTRATION (clay base)

3 drops of vanilla extract
3 drops of lemon essential oil
2 drops of rosemary essential oil

Drop the indicated amounts onto a clay base.
