Amiris essential oil

Amiris is a tropical evergreen tree with beautiful white flowers that grows on the mountainous slopes of Haiti. Its trunk contains a lot of fragrant resin, and essential oil is extracted from its bark. It is also called West Indian sandalwood, because its smell and aromatherapeutic properties resemble real (East Indian) sandalwood.

Amyris essential oil relaxes and soothes, reduces feelings of anxiety and helps manage everyday stress. It is indispensable for meditation. At the same time, it improves circulation, lifts mood and acts as a mild aphrodisiac. It has anti-inflammatory properties that soothe the skin, which is why it is valued in cosmetics. It is an ingredient in many men’s perfumes. In essential oil blends it acts as an aroma enhancer.
