Lemongrass essential oil (CT Cymbopogon flexuosus)
The external appearance of lemongrass is typically grassy. It grows up to 150 cm tall. Although no one knew about it in our country a few decades ago, every beer drinker knew about it 500 years ago, as lemongrass was one of the most important spices used in brewing beer. Lemongrass essential oil contains active ingredients (citral, geraniol), which are also characteristic of citrus fruits.
In aromatherapy, it is used to refresh rooms, increase mental concentration and alleviate depression. In massages, it helps restore tone to withered muscles. It narrows capillaries and nourishes skin with enlarged pores. It is also used to freshen up a room.
