 Lime – BIO essential oil

Unlike other citrus fruits, which are subtropical plants, lime is a true tropical tree that originates from Malaysia and India. It also differs from other citrus fruits in that its oil is obtained by steam distillation of the whole fruit. It has an antiseptic effect, helps tighten the skin and connective tissue. In cosmetics it is used for oily skin care, hair and body care, and is an ingredient in many deodorants, shower gels and baths.

In aromatherapy it is used to freshen rooms, to alleviate respiratory problems and colds, and for anxiety, as it invigorates, elevates mood and promotes well-being.
