Oregano (ORGANIC essential oil, CT carvacrol)
Oregano is a spice that we all know as the main spice on popular pizzas. Wild oregano, unlike common oregano, grows exclusively in the difficult-to-reach mountainous areas of the southern Mediterranean. It is also distinguished from common oregano by its chemical composition and intended use. Wild oregano essential oil is known for its strong aroma. The high content of phenols in it helps inhibit the growth of microorganisms, which are the causative agents of various diseases.
In aromatherapy, it is known as one of the most important disinfectant essences. It is used in tonics for oral care and as an additive to shampoos for anti-dandruff care. It soothes respiratory problems, relieves pain and inflammation and helps strengthen the immune system.
