Ylang-ylang – BIO essential oil
In Indonesia, it is customary to cover the wedding bed of newlyweds with ylang-ylang flowers. In countries of the climate zone where the tree grows (Philippines, Madagascar, Reunion, Comoros Islands), its flowers are worn in necklaces, and ylang-ylang oil and coconut oil are used to make hair and body care products. Ylang-ylang essential oil is popular among aromatherapy enthusiasts due to its distinct and pleasant scent, and it is also found among the ingredients of many perfumes.
It has an antidepressant and calming effect, helping to relieve tension, relieve stress, anxiety and insomnia. In cosmetics, it is used in the care of impure skin and acne, for nail care, in shampoos for damaged and brittle hair, and also in after-sun care products.
