Chamomile (Roman) essential oil
In Europe, chamomile has always been a valued plant and one of the most important ingredients in many herbal products. It repels insects and has a positive effect on the growth and health of plants in its vicinity, which is why gardeners call it the »herbal doctor«. The oil is yellowish in color, and its chemical composition and smell are very different from German chamomile oil.
Aromatherapists often use chamomile essential oil to relieve mental disorders and as an aid to insomnia. It is used for rinsing the mouth, in cosmetics for the care of sensitive and damaged skin. In hair care, chamomile oil can be used to refresh the natural light color of hair.
