Camphor leaves (ORGANIC essential oil – ravintsara)
Camphor leaf essential oil (ravintsara) is obtained by steam distillation of the leaves of the Cinnamomum camphora plant, which grows in Madagascar. The essential oil has a characteristic fresh, spicy scent, reminiscent of eucalyptus essential oil, but unlike it, it is more pleasant and mild. It is an essential oil that is rich in oxides and is often used during colds, as it has a beneficial effect on the respiratory system.
This type of essential oil is also valued for its antiviral properties. For this reason, it can often be found in products for preventive lip care, with frequent outbreaks of herpes.
